How to Choose the Perfect Quinceañera Dress
How to Choose the Perfect Quinceañera Dress: Style, Color, Silhouette and More!
Why it’s important to know how to choose the perfect Quinceañera dress before you start shopping?
A quinceañera dress is more than just a “dress”; it’s a symbol of a young woman’s transition from childhood to adulthood in Latin American culture. We’ve seen hundreds of styles and colors over the year in our Quince venue near Denver, CO, and at fashion shows. This article will explore the items to consider when choosing a quince dress, how the intricate details can make all the difference, popular styles, and cultural significance of these stunning gowns.
What is a Quinceañera Dress?
A quinceañera dress, also known as a “vestido de quinceañera,” is the main feature of the quinceañera celebration, a coming-of-age ceremony for 15-year-old girls in many Latin American countries and communities. This dress is typically elaborate, formal, and designed to make the Quinceañera (the girl celebrating her 15th birthday) feel like royalty. This fairytale themed Quinceañera at Bella Sera Event Center featured our quince girl in a beautiful renaissance styled gown with beautiful criss cross corset back detailing, lace scroll designs and puffy sheer organza sleeves. The apricot color of the gown was so unique and represented her more subtle style, as she was more introverted and didn’t want anything bright or sparkly.
